When renting, guests most often ask about two things: the deposit and the mileage limit. Both matter for avoiding unexpected costs — we explain them transparently from the start.

What is the deposit and how does it work?

The deposit is a security amount set by vehicle class and taken at handover. It serves as cover for possible damage or missing fuel. When you return the car undamaged, clean and at the contracted fuel level, the deposit is fully refunded. Unlike a large credit card hold, it’s a clear, pre-stated amount.

What is the mileage limit?

Most cars have a daily km limit (e.g. a set number of km per day). For normal holiday use this is usually more than enough. If you exceed it, the extra-km rate clearly stated in the contract applies.

When do you need unlimited km?

For long out-of-town tours like Pamukkale, Cappadocia or long coastal routes, a car with a high limit or unlimited km makes more sense. Clarify this before booking to protect your budget.

Tip

For long routes, check the daily km limit before booking; ask us if needed. On all cars: pay on pickup, prices include VAT.
